It's A Pink Day

Watched Death Note 2 with Edison, Shirley, Karen, YongKwang, Jianxin and Eerong today after service (Merf, we finally used it!). Thank you Merfie for blessing the CG with the movie vouchers. It's a nice show! I love L! He's so cute!

Anyway, it was a pink day for me! Nahz ~ I don't love pink but somehow ~ everything just started to turn pink around me. Haha.


Shir bought me a pink turtle for my pink samsung phone! Thank you Dearie ~ I love it so so much! It's so cute!

We were on our way to the new Cathay building when Shir decided to take photos of the turtle. She got high and started to role play...Check it out...

The Start Of Something New

God has really been good in 2006! It wasn't a smooth sailing year for me but still ~ He is faithful and come what may, He is still love. As I was reading the blogs of my lovely angels, the song, Start of Something New, from High School Musical came to my mind. The chorus goes like this:

This could be the start of something new
It feels so right
To be here with You
And now looking in Your eyes
I feel in my heart
The start of something new

Yupz, it is a secular song but it reflects exactly how I feel towards my walk with God in 2007. Service was great today and it tremendously impacted me. As Pastor preached, I felt in my heart that 2007 will be the best year yet. Yes ~ 2006 has been a great year and 2007 will be even better! Thank God that we move from glory to glory!

2006:

Lost my dearest Ah Gong during CNY. It was the saddest CNY and one of the saddest point in my life. My dearest one who was with me since the day I was borned. He saw me grow and he was the only one in the family who will reward me for my good results year after year. It was time for him to go and as much as I am unwilling, he had to. Those few months weren't easy but God is good. Through it all, He gave me the strength and love and He saw me through.

Turned 21 in March. There wasn't any huge celebrations but thank God for the lovely ones whom He has placed in my life. My dearest 7even (Joycelyn, Shir, Vel, Xuan, Dawn, Hui, Charis), thanx for celebrating it with me. Though it was just a simple dinner, I really enjoyed myself. Thanx for the denim too! My first denim ever and I love it so so much! My dearest W243, thanx for the gorgeous pair of heels ~ It's so so pretty! My dearest Jon, thanx for the great financial blessings! It was really very precious to me. My dearest all who remembered my birthday ~ I love all of you.

Started my 3 month Professional Attachment at Datacraft. It was an awesome experience! Lynn, Sherly and Ivy ~ It's really my honour to be working under you ladies. Together with the ones from the F&A dept, thank you so much for making my attachment so fun and so fruitful. Thanx for the love and lunches and presents that you gals have showered me with. Not to forget, the HongKong trip was one of the best trips I ever have! You ladies are such a blessing!

August was a huge turning point. Lost a lover but gained a friend. ^_^ Well ~ looking back...The decision is more than a good one but a God one. We have both matured and have emerged stronger! The growth that we experienced was definitely at an accelerated pace. Truly, when we place God first in our lives, despite the temporary heartaches, tears and sadness, He will build our lives in a way that we can never imagine. Friend, I'm so glad we are still friends and I'm even happier to be growing in the kingdom of God and doing God's will with you. You've been a great friend and a great brother. Thank you.

CG has stretched me alot this year and thank God for His wisdom and strength. I've learned to love. Yes ~ Loving people fervently...More than I've ever learned. God has enlarged my love tank. Having BS with Pstr Zhuang has been a real big blessing. Got to know new sisters and brothers that have tremendously blessed me and encouraged me. Yes Clara ~ if you're reading, you're one of them. Thank God for the genuine relationships built.

I'll be promoted to a Team Helper in Nursery next year. Yes ~ Thank You Jesus for the promotion. I believe that it will be a good training and foundation building ground for my calling to serve in CG. I've learned alot from Judy, Auntie Shirley, Linda and Sally. They are leaders that speak forth love. Thank God for them.

Moved back to hostel this year and Alfred, you've really made my stay in hall fun! To my level 4 neighbours ~ thank you! YanQing, it's an honour to be staying beside you too! Thank you for your bright smiles everytime you see me! Engwee mummy ~ Thanx for being my faithful MSN chat buddy! I love ya!

2006 has been a year where many new angels entered into my life.
Needless to say, Clara ~ You're one of them! Thank you dearie ~ I really thank God that we are so close now!!!

Thank You Jesus for such a great year and Lord, I'm believing that in less than 1 hour time, it is the start of something new. I am so so excited for the new year!

Appreciation Part 3 - 7even

Shall end off my final appreciation entry to my 7 beloved angels who have entered into my life since I was 15. These 6 lovely angels have really seen me through and saw me grow. The friendship that we have is really very very treasurable.

YongKwang, Oh well ~ you're still not answering calls and replying smses! Haha. Nevertheless, I can see that you are giving your all in serving God in Children Church. Ben, Firstly, thanx for availing your house for our CG meetings every week (ermz..most of the weeks..Haha)! It feels good to be having CG in a big big house. Next, you have been such a great servant this year! Serving God despite serving the nation in the band, and serving Him even more after you ORD-ed! You're a superman! Haha. Seeing you treasure every chance that you can serve really makes me wanna serve more. Your determination to do more for God rocks too! Haha. Jiayou on your Korean alright? A Wonderful Christmas

It has really been a wonderful Christmas! Though busy and tired, I enjoyed every single minute of it! 20 friends came and joined us in the Christmas celebration this year and I am so so happy! My First Time

I rode on a bike for THE FIRST TIME in my life today! Wheee~* I am a happy woman!!! *YEAHZ!* Hahaha. Laoda, thanx for convincing me to ride your bike and thanx for making my first bike-riding experience such an enjoyable one. PS: I can't stop smiling! For those who have known me well enough, I've always longed to ride on the bike! Haha..Yesh!!! Jing can definitely testify to that. Haha ~ I am just so overwhelmed ~ Hahahaha.

Watched Night At The Museum with Laoda today. The show is not bad...Quite funny! But I still prefer Charlotte's Web. Haha. Night At The Museum is the kind of show that you will laugh during the show and forget about it ~ Yah...So nothing to bring home. ^_^

Anyway, tomorrow's our first Christmas service for the year 2006! I'm so excited!

Fourth Christmas Present

Well ~ my 4th Christmas present isn't literally a present but a card. I love receiving cards! Especially the one from my dearest brother (aka. Ah Boy)...the one who never fails to snail mail me a Christmas greeting every year.

Charlotte's Web

Went out with dearest Princess Yujie yesterday to watch Charlotte's Web. NICE SHOW! I've to confess that I've never read the book before and after watching the movie and after much persuasion by my dearest princess, I've decided to find the book and read it. Haha. For those of you who are interested to watch, here's what the show is about:

Second Christmas Present

Reached Northvale at around 5pm yesterday to help in the deco for X'Mask 2006. It's a very accessible place and I like it! But well ~ Too far ~ CCK leh! *Faintz* Anyway, when I reached the place, my heels gave way! *SoBz* Lousy heels. Yesterday was the third time I wore it lor and it snapped just like that. Anyway, messaged Na to help me buy a new pair and Na bought a really sweet pair! Wanted to pay Nana back but she said, "Treat it as Christmas present lahz." *So happy!*

First Christmas Present

Went for Prayer Meeting yesterday with Jianxin. Nana was sick ~ So couldnt join us. Na ~ Hope you're feeling better now! Anyway, Prayer Meeting was power! The presence of God was so strong. Wow ~ Ending the year with a powerful prayer meeting. We prayed for the Christmas services and I could see in my spirit that this Christmas will be one where breakthroughs will be experienced. Pastor Derek led and I really love Prayer Meetings! Yes ~ Not only prayer meetings but prayer! I love to pray ~

My highly desired Crown belt!!! I AM SO HAPPY! Jiansin ~ Thanx a million! Haha..He told me he went shopping on Monday and he felt led to buy it for me. Well ~ Like what Mervyn always says, you feel led to give, I will be led to receive. I love the belt! Thank you Jiansin!

After receiving Jiansin's gift, I started to think what I should give my CG members this Christmas. Been making cards for them every year...Hrmm...Time to do something different this year. God, give me the creativity!

I am so looking forward to Christmas! I can't believe that it's coming! Wheeeeeeee ~* I am so excited! By the way, Xiangwei will be going for service with me! Thanx Xiangwei! Who else wanna go with me? All is welcome!

Too Young Too Old

Came back from Nursery's Appreciation Dinner not long ago. It was fruitful! I believe that the leaders have met the objective of bonding the workers closer. *3 cheers to the leaders!* I always find it amazing to serve in the Nursery ministry. It's really a ministry that displays Girl Power! Haha. Everything was done by the ladies - The guitar, shifting of tables, arranging of chairs, ushering etc etc. *3 cheers to Nursery!* Most importantly, I want to thank Auntie Shirley for being such a great example and leader to us. She's the most loving leader that I have met thus far. Still going strong and serving the Lord at the age of 65! Listen people ~ sixty five! Wow! I'm always inspired by her passion and enthusiam. Indeed, entheos...in God! WOW!

Looking at the way Auntie Shirley serves, it reminds me of what Pastor shared a few weeks back. You are never too old nor too young. The pastors were leading 5-6 cell groups at the age of 16-17. I'm not too young! Auntie Shirley is still serving and leading the ministry, looking out for people that she can reach out to for God to use in the ministry and she's 65! I'm definitely not too old! I've made up my mind. No more procrastination in my walk, my ministry, my studies, my family, my relationship, my everything. God has spoken, "The time is now!" and indeed, it is NOW. I only have one life to live and it's either now or never.

Went for the Fivefold Ministry BS with Karen and Clara on Wednesday ~ Well ~ Who can withstand the pretty shimmering lights in our nice Jurong West St 91 building?

Never been on my feet so long before ~

Yesterday was a tiring but yet, the most fruitful day thus far in my hols.

Woke up at 7am (Only church can motivate me to wake up so early in the morning. Hahaha.) to get ready for service. and met Huisi to queue up. Service was powerful! Honestly, I never knew there's Shamgar in the bible. Man! How can I not notice him when he's such a hero of faith! He's my new found ou xiang ~ ^_^ I'll read the book of Judges again.

After service was Prayer Meeting and it's also power!!! The power of prayer! I love to pray! Yes ~ What was considered a chore to me is so loved by me now.

Got to meet Son and Hongiez in the digital fair in Expo. On my way there, saw handsome Julian working. (PS. Julian! You're looking good!) Anyway, after meeting Hong and Son, we walked alot in the Expo halls ~ From Hall 3 to Hall 5...It's a long long journey ~

Met YongSheng and Daiqi at 6pm to walk to Aranda ~ My princess Joelle's 21st birthday chalet. Joelle looks so so pretty lahz! My loveliest among lovelies. Anyway, Josce and Jac came at 10pm and the 4 of us crapped and left at 1130. Took many funny photos too! Will upload them when I return to hostel where my lappie is.

So ~ What's with my title "Never been on my feet so long before"? Ha ~ I stood from 8.30am to 9am while queueing. Stood during praise and worship and during fellowship when we caught a quick bite outside the foodcourt. Stood for near 2 hours during Praise and Worship. Walked for 1 hour from Hall 3 to Hall 5. Walked to Aranda and was standing most of the time. My legs were aching!!! Hahaha...Think age is catching up but yupz ~ I'm never too old!

Anyway, feeling high ~ I think I broke the sleeping cycle that happened for the last 2 weeks. Haha. It's going to be a fruitful hols starting from yesterday! Yeahz!

Bored . . .

I'm having my hols now and I am so not happy! It's not fruitful...*Grrr*...I'm so so bored! Somebody (Ade mama, Engwee mama, Josce, Hongiez, anybody!) please ask me out! I guess the only way to keep me busy this hols is to get a job. Any lobangs anyone???

Was in school on Thursday and Friday. My dearest son ,thanx for availing your room for me to watch movies! Haha. 2 in a row! *Happy* Qingyuan ~ Thanx for teaching me Japanese. I'm practicing the Hiragana and I will really work hard to learn it.

Tomorrow's Sunday! I love Sundays cuz I get to go church! Wheeee ~* To add on, I'm going for my dearest Joelle's birthday chalet in the evening after prayer meeting. Yeahz! I miss her so much!

It's December and it marks the start of my Keeping Fit plan. One month to keep myself healthy and good looking before returning to school in January. Go Rae! Ade Ma, Soo's waiting for you to go jogging and swimming!!!
